Here is the Checklist that will help you with with some questions which should be answered before we start.

This will help us both with the overall project.

CHECKLIST:

ü  What is my Budget? (In the case of making other cabinets such as vanities for bathrooms or entertainment center, make list of separate budget for each.)

ü  Should the cabinets be more for looks, usage or both? (This may help with your budget needs.)

ü  Do you want stained or painted cabinets? (At the same time think about what counter top and door pulls will you use to go with your stain or paint color.)

ü  Face frame (Traditional) or Frameless (Euro style)

ü  Do you want to add Glaze? (Glaze can be added to stain or paint)

ü  What type of wood Species for stain?

ü  What material for paint, MDF or Wood?

ü  Do you want Melamine inside and what finish?

ü  Where do you want adjustable and where fixed shelves?

ü  Upper Cabinets all the way to ceiling or dropped?

ü  What door and panel styles? (Check out Gallery for Door styles)

ü  Copy of specs for all appliances.

We will go through some more questions in progress but if you can have those questions answered and have a copy of all appliances ready for me that will speed up everything.

I will give you some more ideas and possibilities and we will work our way to meet your design and budget needs.

When it comes to Custom Trim the design possibilities are unlimited.

You can give me a photo of certain trim job from someone else’s home that you like or some design magazine and I can match it for your home.

If you’d like I can help you change some things on it and make it look even better.

Or I can give you my ideas and recommend what I think would look the best.

Uniqueness is also one of my specialties. I usually try to bring something new to the table, something that I haven’t seen anywhere else before yet. In some cases I make my own custom trim.

Now there is a lot of ways how to save money even on custom trim and that as on material as on labor.

I will give you the possible options and you can pick the one that you like.

You should also consider the paint options, paint can change the look of some trim jobs so much that you will not be able to tell that they are actually the same trim layout.
